Romiley is a residential village in the south-east of the Stockport borough, sitting in a valley at the edge of the Peak District National Park. We reach Romiley in 35 to 45 minutes from Salford via the M60 to junction 1, then the A560 and B6104 into the village. The approach from Stockport town centre is via the A6 through Hazel Grove and then east on the B6104.

The B6104 Stockport Road runs through Romiley village and is the main road connecting the area to Stockport and to Marple to the south. The road climbs and dips through the village and the surrounding lanes branch off into the hills and valleys of east Stockport.
